Siege Fashion! - Yashica Davis Launches "Shic Clothing"

Siege Magazine was on location to cover Yashica Davis' "Shic Clothing" Fashion show and website Launch Party. It was Lights Camera Fashion! Saturday September 24th as many came out to support Her SHIC 2011 Fall/Winter collection. The energy was high,and the runway was full of fresh faces and fierce fashion. The event was hosted by the designer's long time friend and supporter Mario Bennett who brought his style and charisma to the podium. There was also a beautiful reading by Poet and Author Stacy Davis Stanton (who is also the designer's sister). To keep the crowd moving, Hip Hop group KidSyc @ Brandywine opened the show, giving us hot beats and lyrical creativity. The runway included diverse styles full of furs,leather and body conscious dresses, that are definitely not for the shy. However the line is perfect for the woman who wants to make heads turns as she enters a room. Yashica states, "I am so proud of this collection, A lot of dedication and hard work went into each design, And I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do." This collection is sure to stand the test of time. We look forward to seeing more of her creations.
